Social Media Management
I approach social media as a strategic marketing tool, combining audience insights, platform trends, and performance metrics to drive measurable growth, engagement, and brand awareness. Below are examples of accounts I have managed, designed, and supported through content creation, video editing, and digital strategy.
Pretty N' Gold
Pretty N’ Gold is a majorette dance organization that I directed from 2023 to 2025. Beginning in 2022, I led the organization’s brand development and digital strategy across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok to strengthen brand awareness, increase engagement, and support membership growth. By implementing consistent messaging, audience-focused content, and performance-based storytelling, I positioned Pretty N’ Gold as a recognizable and competitive organization within the campus and local community.
Within one year, the organization’s Instagram presence alone generated 55,000 views, reached 7,000 new users, and gained 200 new followers, reflecting successful audience growth and engagement outcomes.
Curvaceous Behavior Internship
Curvaceous Behavior is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting young adults and children through initiatives that address mental wellness and personal development. Its programming includes mental health workshops, the Prom Project, and, most recently, a Self-Care Sunday meditation and yoga workshop.
This collection of post highlights two of those recent events, including the organization’s Self-Care Sunday workshops and a teen-focused workshop. During my internship, I utilized social media as a strategic tool to revitalize the organization’s digital presence and increase event participation. These efforts were successful, resulting in an average growth of 20 new participants each Sunday for the Self-Care Sunday series.
EmpowerHer Internship
EmpowerHer Firm is a Black-owned business focused on equipping young entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully build and sustain their own businesses. Led by founder Lacreisha Thomas, the brand hired me as a social media and branding intern to support its digital growth and event promotion efforts.
During this internship, I developed and executed a social media campaign aimed at increasing engagement across EmpowerHer Firm’s platforms and driving attendance for the Hustle to Funded Brunch. This collection highlights key Instagram content created during the campaign. Within the eight-week internship period, EmpowerHer Firm gained 100 new followers, secured one potential partnership, and increased audience views by 200, demonstrating the impact of targeted content and strategic messaging.
